One of the most anticipated products this is definitely the PadFone 2012 from Asus, the first smartphone with Quad Core Tegra 3 processor will turn into a tablet. Shown in prototype version at CES 2012, it will arrive in an official manner (or at least hopefully) at the MWC 2012 with Android 4.0.3 optimized for the screen of the Tablet and Smartphone.
The phone features a 4.3 inch IPS display, 8 MP camera and of course HDMI connectivity to connect to the tablet. Although it is a truly long-awaited, there is still no certainty on the real release date. It should be by mid-2012.
Waiting for Android 4.0 was definitely one of the reasons for the delay in marketing and probably also the optimization of the Tegra 3 processor within smartphone has contributed to the delay or otherwise increased development time.
