LG To Intros Its Own Cloud Service for Streaming Music, Photos, Video with LG Phone, PC and TV

LG joins the list of cloud service providers, launching the beta version of the LG Cloud platform. The purpose of the Korean manufacturer is to create a method for sharing non-exclusive content of various types, including music, photos and video between devices of LG, including smartphones, PC and TV. You can then, for example, record a 3D video using a cell phone which can record video in 3D, then share it on a 3D TV, so you can easily view your content directly in three dimensions.
The strength of the service is the trans-coding content in real time, so as to make it playable in the best possible format, depending on the device: the usefulness of this feature is particularly evident if we think of mobile devices, which will benefit from the ability to adapt to fruition internet available.
The service will be open to all, free of charge, with a willingness to store up to 2 gigabytes on the “cloud”. However, LG has also thought to its customers: for them there will be a significant incentive, estimated at 5 gigabytes of free space, and as many as 50 gigabytes for the first six months (after which you return to the 5 gig free). You can still expand its remote storage options via a fee (to be defined shortly).
The service is available from today, May 1, South Korea and the United States, and has already established a further expansion to other states during the first half of 2013. The client currently supported Android 2.2+, Windows XP, Windows 7, and a generic web interface to access the cloud from any device.
Like Apple before her, then LG tries to retain its customers, offering not only usable products individually, but also interoperable platforms that enhance the use of various devices from the same manufacturer.
