Following the release of iOS 6.0 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, the Apple TV box also inherits an operating system update. This major update brings many new features such as the ability to display RSS photos shared on TV, stream music to an audio system compatible wireless AirPlay or new wallpaper.
The 5.1 update also saves information from multiple iTunes accounts and quickly switch from one to the other. It is now possible to rearrange the icons by holding the center button on the remote. Finally, this iOS 5.1 for the Apple TV 2G and 3G offer support for SDH subtitles and new advanced settings for the network settings such as DNS Management Manual. Apple has also improved the stability and reactivity of the software.
This update is done directly from the Apple TV. It weighs about 630 MB.

With iOS 6 Apple introduced the long-awaited integration of Facebook, proposing what was done with Twitter. However, some people might have found unwanted changes to the Contacts after just such an integration. Let’s see how to fix this problem and clean up the Contacts app.
The guide in question was published by Macworld and aims to show a way to clean up the Contacts app as a result of changes made by Facebook. If you have in fact entered your credentials within Facebook Settings and then press “Update all contacts”, have immediately a particularly troublesome side effect: the iOS device will in fact imported all your Facebook friends in the Contacts. This involves the possibility that, during the composition of email, you see also their email addresses as a result of automatic filling. It would not be a bad thing, except that the integration also involves the addition of all the addresses email@facebook.com contacts, in addition to those already saved. The problem is even more annoying if you have hundreds of friends on Facebook.

Android phones are the top-selling devices in the world today with Google recently announcing that they are currently activating 1.3 million handsets every single day. With all of the different versions of the mobile operating system and all of the different carriers it can become easy to get confused, especially with updates to the OS. On top of that, carriers roll out updates on a staggered basis, likely to prevent a hit to their network resources.
If you think or hear that there is an update available for your device then you can head to the Settings, scroll down to About Phone, click System Update and choose Check Now. There is a problem with that method though, thanks to the staggered release cycle. Even if your phone has an update available, if your carrier hasn’t yet scheduled your device then this method alone will not find that update.

Halfbrick studio has been famous with their world famous title: Fruit Ninja. Recently they released a new game: Jetpack Joyride. The concept is relatively simple: you play as a little boy, which should go as far as possible, thanks to his jetpack. You must collect as many coins as possible, then you will need to buy upgrades or accessories.
The action takes place in a corridor of a spaceship that has many obstacles that have the sole purpose of you stop dead. You will be able to retrieve items for you into bird metal, dragon, motorcycle … Some items will also unlock tokens for a kind of slot machine, giving you access to useful features (for a bomb you landed later …).
Although the game seems very simple and with a limited life, it is truly addictive as you try to beat your scores and make improvements. This will be your perfect companion for transport.

It is a platform game that retains the essence (and the graphics engine) the famous game for PC and consoles Rayman Origins. Except that Rayman running alone, we’ll just blow it / planner / type / gather at the option of the 40 levels available.

The Asus ROG Matrix HD 7970 is finally official. Moreover, it is not one but actually two Matrix that will land shortly in the trade, a Matrix HD 7970 “tout court” (HD7970-3GD5 Matrix) and a HD 7970 Matrix Platinum (HD7970P Matrix-3GD5).
The only difference that exists between these two models, in addition to the sale price will be the operating frequency of the GPU. Basic Tahiti XT2 HD 7970 Matrix will be clocked at 1 GHz and 1.05 GHz to rise in boost, while the Platinum model will run at 1.05 GHz base and will be pushed to 1.1 GHz in Boost. Memory, 3GB GDDR5, is it clocked at 1650 MHz.

The manufacturer Onkyo has announced the release of a AirPlay dock audio systems composed of a conventional amplifier and separate speakers. The dock can accommodate DS-A5 iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4 or 4S, an iPod and an iPad with the same standard 30-pin connector. It also serves as a receiver with AirPlay Wi-Fi or wired via the RJ-45 port.
Dock Onkyo DS-A5 offers a RCA audio output, an optical digital audio output R (Remote Interactive) specific for Onkyo systems and also a composite video output. The dock AirPlay can obviously connect to any audio system and even directly to powered speakers. The Onkyo DS-A5 will be released in the month of October for a price of about $199.
